Crews have responded to the scene of a fatal crash in Williamson County.
Authorities with the Tennessee Highway Patrol said the wreck happened in the eastbound lanes of State Route 840 at mile marker 9, a couple miles past Highway 100, around 7:25 a.m. Friday.
Details on the cause of the crash had not been released. Authorities confirmed at least one person had passed away.
The left lane was blocked to eastbound traffic. Officials said the left lane was also closed to westbound drivers.
Crews estimated the roadway would be cleared by 9 a.m.
