A crash involving multiple vehicles on Interstate 65 blocked part of the roadway.
Officials said the crash happened around 4:36 p.m. Sunday in the southbound lanes of the interstate at the Exit 86 pickup for Interstate 24.
The roadway was closed to southbound traffic as multiple emergency vehicles made their way into that area while they worked at the scene. About 30 minutes after the crash happened, one lane of traffic opened to southbound drivers.
Northbound traffic was not affected.
One person was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Crews said the roadway was cleared by 6 p.m.
