Officials with the Tennessee Highway Patrol said emergency crews were working a crash involving an overturned dump truck.
The wreck happened Friday morning on Interstate 40 at mile marker 181 near Exit 182 for State Route 96. According to reports, the crash happened in the western part of Williamson County near the Dickson County line.
Officials had not released many details on the crash, but traffic seemed to be moving through that area.
Crews had confirmed the dump truck overturned, and the truck separated from the bed. Images from the scene showed the truck had gone over the guardrail, landing off the roadway.
Authorities said the driver was ejected and pinned under the truck, but he was able to free himself. There was no word on his condition or possible injuries.
Crews expected the area to be cleared by 11:30 a.m.
