A gas leak shut down a portion 3rd Avenue South.
The incident happened when a construction crew hit a gas line near Molloy Street around 3 p.m. Wednesday.
The street was blocked to traffic in that area while crews worked at the scene. Reports stated the sidewalks were still open.
The roadway began to reopen around 4:15 p.m. No further details were available.
