A head-on crash in Williamson County shut down Franklin Road.
Authorities said the wreck happened after 2 p.m. Monday on Franklin Road just south of The Factory on Liberty Pike.
Officers with the Franklin Police Department said two people were seriously injured in the wreck. One was taken to Williamson Medical Center, and the other was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
1 to Williamson Med, 1 to Vandy. Roadway reopened. Injuries appear serious, but patients are stable.

Franklin Road was closed in that area for about an hour, reopening just before 3:30 p.m.
Authorities had asked drivers to seek alternate routes to avoid that area while they were on scene.
