An overturned tractor trailer shut down lanes of Interstate 65 in Williamson County.
The crash happened around 5:53 p.m. Saturday in the northbound lanes of the interstate near Exit 71 for State Route 253, Concord Road, and Brentwood.

Officials with the Tennessee Department of Transportation said only one lane of traffic was open to northbound drivers for many hours. The roadway also had to close periodically as crews cleared the area. Southbound traffic experienced rubbernecking delays.
According to a preliminary investigation, the tractor trailer, driven by 48-year-old Benjamin Hill, and a pickup truck, driven by 26-year-old Nicklaus Pugh, were traveling north when the pickup truck allegedly encroached into the tractor trailer's lane.
Hill's tractor trailer then veered to the left, struck a concrete barrier and bridge pier, and rolled on its side.
Authorities confirmed Hill and his passenger, 53-year-old Valerie Fields, were taken to the hospital for their injuries. Pugh had minor injures, but he was not transported for medical care.
