FORT CAMPBELL, Ky. (AP) - Fort Campbell and the 101st Airborne Division are hosting a day of events in recognition of Day of the Eagles later this month.
The events bring together soldiers, civilians and veterans to showcase the division's history.
Events will be held at the battalion, brigade and division levels, beginning with a division run and ending with an Honor Eagle ceremony. The ceremony will also showcase the final jump for the 101st Airborne Division Parachute Demonstration Team.
The military post is located on the Kentucky-Tennessee line.
Day of the Eagles is July 30. Events begin at 6 a.m. CDT and continue until a 4 p.m. closing ceremony.
