WAVERLY, Tenn. – Authorities said one person was killed in a single vehicle crash in Humphreys County.
According to those with the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the wreck happened on Bakerville Road near Anderson Lane, around 8:07 a.m. Monday.
Officials said 51-year-old Jeffrey D. Scott was driving south in a 1994 GMC Jimmy when he went off the right side of the road and hit a tree.
Those with THP said Scott was killed in the crash and added he was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the wreck.
Alcohol was not a factor, according to authorities. Further details were not available.
