NASHVILLE, Tenn. - After a three-year hiatus, the St. Edward Carnival at St. Edward Catholic Church and School made a return.
The event was held for about 50 years before being discontinued, but it came back Saturday with the theme “Back To the Future.”
The carnival had plenty of fun activities like rock-wall climbing, silent auctions, and music all day long.
“It takes a lot of effort on a lot of people's parts,” said Father Mark Nolte, Pastor. “Jenny and Gary Guinn coordinated the committee to put this carnival together, and that was one of the other reasons we wanted to do this was to get people more involved.”
The proceeds from the St. Edward Carnival were set to go toward improving technology at the St. Edward Catholic Church and School.
