Abbey Walton is a Client Content Host & Reporter for Talk of the Town, joining the team in June of 2026.
Abbey comes from Charleston, S.C., where she served as the morning traffic anchor for WCSC. There, she earned an Emmy nomination for her team coverage of Hurricane Debby. She is also a dedicated advocate for Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), and hosted two annual events for the organization while representing WCSC. Prior to her time in Charleston, she worked as a reporter and fill-in anchor for WTVC in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
A graduate of the University of Georgia, Abbey calls Georgia home but has also lived in N.C., Pa., and New York. Outside of work, she enjoys taking long walks to explore the city, listening to live music, discovering local coffee shops, and finding the best local restaurants.
