Catlin Bogard serves as the Digital Director for NewsChannel 5 Nashville. Those responsibilities including managing this website, Newschannel 5's iPhone and Android apps, NewsChannel 5's social media accounts, as well as NewsChannel 5's OTT and Amazon Alexa presence.

Growing up in Western Kentucky, Catlin is thrilled to be back in the mid-south. He studied at Murray State University in Electronic Media, but has been involved in news dating back to his days at Calloway County High School. His professional career started at WPSD Local 6 in Paducah, Kentucky, where he began as an overnight Associate Producer while he was in college. He also would produce both morning and evening newscasts at the station during his time there.

Catlin joined Scripps in 2015 when he became the AM Executive News producer at WKBW in Buffalo, New York. That's also where he made the move to digital, becoming the station's Digital Director in 2016. He also spent nine months as interim digital director for Baltimore's WMAR in 2017, in addition to his work in Buffalo.

Outside of news, Catlin spent 10 years covering Ohio Valley Conference men's basketball for an independent site called OVC Ball, which he created. You'll still find him at Racer games.
