Cuthbert Langley is excited to make Music City home! He joined the NewsChannel 5 staff in May 2014.
He grew up in Charleston, SC and went on to graduate, magna cum laude, from the University of Georgia in 2012. There, he was a double major in Broadcast News and International Affairs.
After graduation, the bright lights of New York City called, and he went to work as an NBC Page. While at 30 Rock, Cuthbert worked primarily with Saturday Night Live. He was responsible for managing the cast, music guest and host. Talk about a fun job!
But the Big Apple wasn't enough, so he traveled back home to Charleston where he became a multimedia reporter for WCBD. While there, Cuthbert focused primarily on investigative reporting, including an investigation into how 911 handles its call loads. During that story, Cuthbert uncovered that 911 centers aren't required to answer every phone call. Many of his stories were seen on CNN and several other NBC stations nationwide.
When he's not breaking the latest story in the mornings, Cuthbert is soaking up the eclectic music scene, training for his first half-marathon and attempting to perfect the craft of cooking.
