Jennifer Reyes joined the NewsChannel 5 team in March 2012 and reports for the 4, 5 and 6 p.m. newscast Monday through Friday.
Her news career began in Indianapolis, Indiana, working for the local Univision affiliate. Jennifer started out as a producer and weather anchor, and later anchored the 6:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. newscasts. While at Univision she interviewed many local and national celebrities, and broke stories that received national and international attention.
After her time at Univision, Jennifer moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where she started as a helicopter traffic reporter with the FOX 6 News team. Eventually, Jennifer worked as a general assignment and feature weekend reporter.
Her job as a reporter has taken Jennifer around the world from Mexico to Los Angeles and London. She has covered topics ranging from immigration to entertainment and technology. She has also contributed reports for PBS, MSNBC, Telemundo and CBS This Morning.
Jennifer grew up in Indianapolis and graduated from Ball State University. She is fluent in Spanish and English.
