COLUMBIA, Tenn. (WTVF) — Autopsy results from a murder-suicide that occurred in October involving a Tennessee mother and her four children have been released.
Five bodies were found in a Maury County home off Carters Creek Pike on October 15, 2018. According to police, four children ranging from 14-17 in age were found dead inside the home, along with their mother.
According to our affiliate, WVLT, the autopsy results showed that the children had been killed with multiple guns, one of which was a shotgun.
According to the report, Bo and Meigan Li, both 14, were located in their beds with four and eight gunshot wounds respectively. Lia Lin, 15, was found in her bed with nine gunshot wounds and 17-year-old child, Kaileigh Lin's body was found on the bathroom floor with 13 gunshot wounds.
The report also lists the cause of death of all the children as homicide. Also indicated was the finding that no drugs were in the systems of any of the victims, including the mother's.
The woman, 55-year old Cynthia Collier, died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound and her death was ruled a suicide.
A suicide note was left at the scene but it has yet to be released.
