CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — With more cold weather heading our way, one middle Tennessee city is opening a shelter for the community's most vulnerable.
Starting today an emergency warming shelter will be open in Clarksville to make sure the area's homeless population has a place when the temperatures do dip down.
The Burt Cobb Community Center is located at 1011 Franklin St., Clarksville, TN 37040. It's through a partnership with the city of Clarksville and Manna Cafe Ministries.
They are in need of volunteers to work round the clock for 4-hour shifts. If you’d like to volunteer, click here: mannacafeministries.com/volunteer
