Jimmy Buffett has announced he will perform for one night only at Ascend Amphitheater with the Coral Reefer Band.
The show has been set for Thursday, May 26 at 8 p.m. A release Thursday said the show was part of Buffett’s “I Don’t Know” Tour 2016.
"We are thrilled to welcome Jimmy Buffett & the Coral Reefer Band for the first time ever to Ascend Amphitheater," said Isaac Thompson, General Manager of Ascend Amphitheater. "This concert is sure to be Music City's biggest celebration this year. Don't miss this incredible and historic night!”
Tickets for the show on May 26 were set to go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, February 19. A limit of eight tickets per customer was set.
Other recent announcements for Buffett’s Parrotheads have been the first ever floating Margaritaville Restaurant and 5 O'Clock Somewhere Bar aboard the all new Norwegian Cruise Line, Norwegian Escape, as well as the soon to be debut of Margaritaville as a musical.
Buffett’s most famous classic, "Margaritaville," has also been inducted into the 2016 Grammy Hall of Fame for its cultural and historic significance.
