A special anniversary was celebrated at the Grand Ole Opry Saturday night.
Singer Jean Shepard celebrated 60 years as an Opry member. Shepard was the first female to reach the milestone.
She was given an inscribed gold locket to mark the occasion.
Shepard was also joined by Bill Anderson to sing the very first song she ever performed at the Opry called "A Dear John Letter."
In addition to her Opry anniversary, the day was also Shepard's birthday and wedding anniversary.
