Taylor Swift has left Nashville-based Big Machine Records for Universal Music Group.
Swift announced Monday that she has signed with Republic Records, saying she's "ecstatic." The change is effective immediately.
Her contract with Big Machine Records ended upon the release of her most recent album.
Republic Records represents artists such as Drake, Post Malone, Pearl Jam and Nicki Minaj; along with local artists like Maddie & Tae and Greta Van Fleet.
