As we all continue staying inside and socially isolating from others during the coronavirus pandemic, it’s important to maintain a connection to loved ones and friends — even if that isn’t in person.

Along with phone calls and chatting over video, Hallmark is offering another way to stay in touch. The company is giving away two million greeting cards in an effort to encourage people to lift spirits and connect through acts of care.

Anyone in the continental U.S. (which excludes Hawaii and Alaska) who signs up on Hallmark’s website will receive a three-pack of cards for free, including shipping, while supplies last.

The three cards you will receive for free include the sayings, “I believe in you and unicorns,” “Here for you, here for everything” and “There’s a surprising amount of love in this folded piece of paper.”

Whether they’re sent to a loved one, neighbor, senior center or a healthcare worker, Hallmark is hoping the cards will serve as a small act of kindness that can make a big impact on someone’s day.

“Hallmark has been in the business of caring for more than 100 years, so lending a hand to help others connect is part of our DNA,” Lindsey Roy, chief marketing officer of Hallmark, said in a press release. “During a time of unprecedented social distancing, we hope these cards will be shared across neighborhoods, towns and the country to help lift spirits.”

The giveaway was actually initially for just 1 million cards, but after what Hallmark says was an “amazing response,” they have added another 1 million.

If you’re lucky enough to get some cards during the giveaway and find that you’re out of stamps once you receive your cards, those can be ordered online via the USPS and delivered right to your door — so you can stay safe at home and still send your cards to a loved one or friend.

Who will you be sending your free cards to?
