Pizza Hut will pay you $50K to be the ultimate sports and pizza fan

Do you have what it takes to be the Pizza Hut All-American? Do you love Pizza Hut? What about college sports, do you like those? Do you frequently post to social media? Check, check and check.

If you meet those qualifications, then you’re likely exactly just the person Pizza Hut is looking for. The company has partnered with the NCAA this year, and now, they’re hiring the perfect individual to send to Division I championship games all over the nation.

Oh, and did I mention that you’ll make $50,000 in the process? So, yeah. There’s that.

Is this quickly becoming your favorite job opportunity or what?! All you have to do to apply is fill out an application online, then submit a resume and video of why you’re the perfect pizza and sports fan for the job. You must do so by Nov. 6.

If you’re chosen, you’ll travel from championship to championship throughout the 2016-2017 season, giving pizza to fans and documenting your adventures on social media. You must be social media savvy and up for the challenges that goes along with traveling and just, you know, being a college sports fan. Remember to be humble in victory and gracious in defeat, my friends.

 

Standing 7 feet tall, Ruben Guerrero presents an intimidating exterior, especially when he’s blocking shots on the #basketball court. However, Guerrero, voted by his peers as the most spirited student-athlete at South Florida, is a gentle giant. Guerrero has committed himself to supporting all of the school’s athletics teams and does so in a respectful manner. During a South Florida tennis match in March, Guerrero was able to calm a rambunctious crowd by encouraging the group to cheer more appropriately. “Ruben is an amazing and genuine person who is a great example of what a good sportsman in collegiate athletics should resemble,” said Guerrero’s nominator for the #NCAA #sportsmanship award, Jodie Libadisos, South Florida’s associate athletics director for student-athlete engagement. The South Florida junior also was awarded the American Athletic Conference Sportsmanship Award, which is voted on by all 10 basketball coaches in the conference. #USF

The job runs from Nov. 14, 2016 to June 30, 2017, you’ll cover all sorts of Division 1 NCAA sports, and like I said, pays $50,000. You need to be comfortable doing live media interviews as well as posting to Facebook Live, Twitter, Snapchat and the like. So, that’s definitely not a bad gig, if you ask me.

Besides, you know how the saying goes, “if you do what you love, you’ll never work a day in your life.” And I, for one, can’t think of anything I love more than pizza and college basketball.
