Hooters is offering first responders a free meal this weekend to show their appreciation for their service. This deal is good for Saturday, Oct. 28 and gets all first responders with an ID or wearing a uniform a free meal at Hooters. "In recognition of their strength, courage and service, Hooters is thanking the nation’s first responders by offering a meal on the house," according to Hooters. First responders include: EMTs, firefighters and police officers. They can choose from:

  • 10-piece traditional wings
  • 10-piece boneless wings
  • Buffalo chicken sandwich
  • Buffalo chicken salad
  • Hooters burger

Hooters wants Congress to pass a proposal that would create National First Responders Day, which was proposed in memory of Sean Collier, a police officer who died in the aftermath of the Boston Marathon bombing.
