If you're looking for a work-from-home job that allows you to exercise your brain, do we have the job for you. All you have to do is conduct online research and you can make $13 an hour. So basically, you get paid to learn. Sounds pretty genius! The job offer comes from Wonder, a company that uses freelance researchers (AKA the future you) to provide clients with data, lists and spreadsheets about a variety of topics. Basically, it's a virtual encyclopedia. "We provide instant access to the intellect and fact-finding skills of a distributed network of analysts around the world," the company's website says. "We enable anyone—from individuals up to Fortune 500s—to gain strategic knowledge when they need it most." Currently, they're looking to hire freelance researchers who can fulfill customer questions. If you decide this is the job for you, you can even choose which research projects you work on and set your own schedule. You'll be paid per completed research project, and you can choose how many projects you want to complete. This arrangement is perfect for anyone who just wants to do a few projects and make a little extra cash on the side, though you could also throw yourself into researching full-time. According to the company, its top researchers can earn as much as $15 to $25 per hour. But according to former Wonder researcher Jamie Cattanach, it's probably more likely that a freelance researcher will make about $13 an hour, based on the average time spent on a research project. If this sounds like the job for you, head over to the Wonder site and fill out an application. If you make it through the first round, you'll be asked to do a preliminary research project (where you won't be paid) to make sure your skills are up to snuff. Happy researching!
