A woman has been taken into custody after an early-morning pursuit led to a crash in Wilson County.
The ordeal began early Monday morning when an officer pulled over a woman who had been wanted for a parole violation.

Mt. Juliet police said she sped away, which prompted a pursuit to Underwood Road. At some point, she crashed into a utility pole.
Both she and her male passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Neither of their names was released.
Police said per policy, the Tennessee Highway Patrol would investigate the crash.
