One person has been arrested in connection with a series of Murfreesboro burglaries in which entire cash registers were stolen.
Sources confirmed he was arrested early Wednesday morning at a home on Carver Street. His name was not known.
Police made the move after evidence led them to the suspect. He’s wanted in potentially dozens of smash-and-grabs at businesses in which cash registers were stolen.
He had escaped capture and continued to strike over the past several weeks.
When officers arrived, the suspect took off on foot but they surrounded the house and took him into custody before he could escape.
