NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The victim in the shooting at a Jefferson Street business Friday night has died due to his injuries. Metro Nashville police (MNPD) are requesting information on the shooting.

Officers responding to the shooting around 7 p.m. found 32-year-old Isiah Meneese inside House of Legends - which was closed at the time - on the 2000 block of Jefferson Street

Meneese, an employee of House of Legends, had already been shot multiple times when police found him. He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he died.

According to MNPD, their preliminary investigation shows that after Meneese walked into the building, two men got out of a black sedan and followed him inside. Mere moments later, the two men ran from the building and escaped in the sedan.

The motive for the shooting is still under investigation.

Anyone with information about Meneese's murder is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (615) 742-7463.
