NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — One person is dead and another is injured after a single-vehicle crash early Saturday morning.
Metro Nashville Police responded to the area of Dickerson Pike and Dellway Drive around 4:20 a.m.
Early investigations show that Ke'asia Franklin, 21, was driving a Chrysler 200 southbound at a high rate of speed when the vehicle veered left, crossed into other lanes of traffic, and left the roadway before crashing into a wooden utility pole.
Franklin then drove the vehicle through a metal fence and crashed into a metal pole before the vehicle came to a rest.
Officials say that Franklin died at the scene following the crash.
