A man was injured and rushed to the hospital after a shooting in Cookeville.
According to Cookeville Police Department officials, the shooting happened on Scenic Drive in the middle of the street.
A 39-year-old man was shot. His condition was unknown.
Details of the incident were not released. Police said the shooting suspect was still on the loose; however, the community was not believed to be at risk.
