NASHVILLE, Tenn. – One person was injured in a shooting outside a club in Music City.
Authorities said the shooting happened in the 1200 block of Murfreesboro Pike around 2 a.m. Sunday just outside of Club Kai.
According to police, one man was shot and taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center by a friend. His injuries were believed to be non-life threatening.
At this point, officials said they do not have any suspects. Multiple shell casings were found on Kermit Drive and in the parking lot.
Officials said they were interviewing several people who were involved or witnessed the shooting.
The brother of the victim told NewsChannel 5 he was inside the club when he heard the gunshots and called his brother. That’s when he learned it was his brother who was shot, but he wasn’t sure what led to the shooting.
