The Wilson County Sheriff's Office has been investigating a fatal stabbing in Lebanon.
Officials said deputies were called out to the 6600 block of Trousdale Ferry Pike at 9:20 a.m. Saturday.
They said deputies made contact with a woman there who had been stabbed multiple times around her throat and arm. She was later identified as 25-year-old Ariel Warden, of Lebanon.
Deputies began to render aid to her until the county's emergency management arrived.
Authorities said Warden was taken to Tennova Medical Center in Lebanon where she was pronounced dead.
Reports stated deputies captured the suspect east of the crime scene at Jennings Creek Bridge shortly after he'd fled. He has been identified as 28-year-old Christopher Clark, of Monterey.
Clark was being held in the Wilson County Jail awaiting charges as the investigation continued.
