NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — One person was killed in a shooting at Cayce Homes housing complex in Nashville.
According to Metro Nashville Police officials, two people were shot in the incident Monday evening. Reginald Williams, 37, was killed and an unidentified 18-year-old man was treated at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
It happened in the 600 block of S. Seventh Street just before 5 p.m.
Police are searching for 22-year-old Latreavias Burns, who is accused of being the shooter.
Detectives are also investigating if the shooting is related to anther shooting an hour earlier at Riverchase Apartments. A 22-year-old was shot, but told detectives he did not want to prosecute the person who shot him.
