One person was killed and another was airlifted to an area hospital after an overnight fire in Hopkinsville, Kentucky.
The incident happened early Tuesday morning at Woodland Heights Apartments, located near Greenville Road.
Officials with the Hopkinsville Fire Department said 25-year-old David Michael Keys, of New Albany, Indiana, was found deceased at the scene due to smoke inhalation.
Kentucky State Police officials said 22-year-old Andra Pool was airlifted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and is listed in critical condition.
The cause of the fire was unknown. The investigation remained ongoing but KSP said foul play is not suspected.
