A 30-year-old woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Cannon County on Christmas Day.
The wreck happened Monday evening around 5 p.m. on Highway 70 South, west of Cummings Hollow Road in Cannon County.
Tennessee Highway Patrol officials said a Ford Mustang, being driven by Amanda Davis, was traveling east when it crossed the center line and hit a Nissan Frontier nearly head-on.
Davis’ car came to rest in a ditch. She was taken to Stones River Hospital and pronounced dead.
The other driver, 52-year-old William Melton, suffered minor injuries.
Both lanes were blocked while crews responded to the crash. No charges would be filed in the incident.
