A crash on State Route 49 in Cheatham County killed a motorcycle driver and injured his passenger.
Tennessee Highway Patrol officials said the wreck happened at State Route 49 and Greenbrier Road in Ashland City around 5:35 p.m. Friday.
Authorities said the wreck only involved a motorcycle which went off the right shoulder of the road, hitting a stone embankment.
Reports stated the driver of the motorcycle, identified as 58-year-old Carmon Wilson, was killed in the crash.
Wilson's passenger, 43-year-old Diana R. McClain, was injured. Her condition was unknown.
The investigation into the crash remained ongoing.
