NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — One man has died following a shooting on Lafayette Street in Nashville.
The victim was found lying on the sidewalk outside J.C. Napier Homes around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday. He was taken to an area hospital where he later died.
It's unclear what led up to the shooting.
Metro police confirmed a "young male" was killed. Neither his name nor age was known.
It's not known how many suspects are wanted in the case.
This is Nashville's 23rd homicide of 2019.
