A man found stabbed on the side of the road by a passerby has passed away.
Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department said the man, identified as 33-year-old Marvin Campos, had left a nearby bar around 3:15 a.m. Saturday. He was found lying on Murfreesboro Pike near Thompson Lane a short time later by a passerby.
Authorities said Campos had been stabbed. He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he passed away.
Detectives said they’re investigating the circumstances surrounding the stabbing of Campos.
