A teen was dropped off at a hospital after being seriously injured in a drive-by shooting in Nashville
According to Metro Nashville Police officials, a suspect dropped off the victim at Tristar Southern Hills Medical Center Monday.
Officers responded to several calls of shots fired in the area of Nolensville Road and Paragon Mills Road. A few minutes later, a 17-year-old male was dropped off at the hospital by a white vehicle with multiple bullet holes.
The victim had a gunshot wound to the back of his head, but his injuries were determined as non life-threatening.
The victim was conscious and able to speak with officers. He told them he and his cousin were driving on Paragon Mills Road when a white SUV pulled up and an occupant in that vehicle began shooting at their car.
They had not yet released any information on a possible suspect.
