An 11-year-old boy, born with a complex heart condition, was surprised with the complete NHL All-Star weekend.
Kael Adams was born with a complex heart condition, and had his first open-heart surgery when he was just 8 days old.
He has since had more than 20 surgeries. Kael was back at Vanderbilt Children's Friday thinking it was for an appointment.
Turns out, Discover surprised him with some big plans. He was made the official "Stick Kid" of the 2016 Honda NHL All-Star Skills Competition.
His Dad is deployed in South Korea, but he got to send a taped message.
Kael will also get a sneak peek at the locker rooms, hang out on the bench at the Honda NHL All-Star Skills Competition Saturday and attend the game with his Mom on Sunday.
