13-year-old hit by car, killed in Rutherford County

RUTHERFORD CO., Tenn. (WTVF) — A 13-year-old was hit by a car and killed while riding a skateboard on Saturday night.

Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating the incident, which happened along the 7000 block of Powells Chapel Road around 9 p.m.

THP's report shows Jaqueline B. Mamrock, 58, was driving down a hill when she hit the teenager, who was on his skateboard in the road.

Crews responded and pronounced him dead. He has been identified as Nate Isbell by family members.

Mamrock was not injured. THP reports charges are pending.
