NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Police say they are investigating after a 16-year-old was found shot outside a Nashville gas station.

The call came in around 1:45 a.m. Friday at an Exxon gas station on Murfreesboro Pike, not far from McGavock Pike.

Metro police say the teen was found shot in the leg near a gas pump. His injury is not life-threatening.

Investigators say they reviewed surveillance video that shows a black SUV pull up to the gas station. They say the victim was seen either falling from or being pushed from the vehicle.

The security footage then shows three or four men get out of the SUV, walk away and then go back to the vehicle and drive away. They left the victim on the ground.

Police say the victim is not cooperating in the case. The investigation remains ongoing.
