A teenager was injured in a South Nashville shooting.
Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department said a 17-year-old boy was shot in the stomach at the Thrifty Inn on Harding Place.
It happened around 1:45 p.m. Monday, but police said the victim waited about 20 minutes to call 911.
The teenager's condition and what led up to the shooting was unknown. Officials said the shooting was possibly drug related.
The initial call came into dispatch as a possible robbery.
