NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police said they’re searching for a 17-year-old wanted in a fatal shooting on Summer Place.
Officers said they’re trying to locate 17-year-old Rafael McKinney. He’s being south for the fatal shooting of 40-year-old Pamela Sowell in the 500 block of Summer Place July 3.
The shooting happened in the James Cayce public housing development.
Authorities said the victim was in a heated argument with multiple people in the area just before the shooting.
McKinney was named in a Juvenile Court petition and arrest order charging him with criminal homicide.
Detectives said they believe McKinney may be in the Nashville area. Anyone with information has been urged to call Crime Stoppers at 615-74-CRIME (615-742-7463).
