NASHVILLE, Tenn. – An 18-year-old has been accused of participating in an apparent drug deal, which ended with a former classmate getting shot back in July.

Officials with Metro police said a 19-year-old was robbed and shot in the leg during a drug deal on Treutland Avenue about two months ago.

William Frazier was arrested Tuesday on charges of aggravated robbery, resisting arrest and possession of a handgun in connection with the incident.

Frazier was identified as a suspect after the victim told police he knew and had attended high school with him.

Two other suspects were also involved in the incident.

Frazier allegedly set up the robbery and brought two others with him.

Investigators identified another suspect, Jaron Carrethers, as the one who actually shot the victim. According to the victim, Carrethers was one of the escapees from the Woodland Hills Detention Center.

Police said they are looking for a third suspect.

Anyone with information on this case was asked to call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
