NASHVILLE, Tenn. – An 18-year-old has been charged with robbery after police say he made arrangements to buy an Xbox gaming system on Craigslist.
Officials with Metro police said Corey A. Moore has been accused of staging a purchase to rob the victims on July 31.
The owner of the Xbox sent his two roommates to meet Moore at the suspect’s apartment complex on Buena Vista Pike. Police said Moore and his alleged accomplice robbed them of the gaming system and other items at gunpoint.
According to authorities, Moore told the other suspect, “you should blast them.”
Moore has been charged with two counts of aggravated robbery and theft.
Investigators believe he could be connected to other incidents. His photo is being withheld pending similar cases.
