GALLATIN, Tenn. – Two suspects have been arrested in connection with a burglary at a Sumner County gun store.
Officials with the Gallatin Police Department said 18-year-old Stephon Clayton Tucker and a 17-year-old juvenile, both of Nashville, have been arrested and charged with burglary.
One of the stolen guns was apparently found after the teen was stopped for a traffic violation Wednesday. Tucker was later identified as a second suspect.
Only one of the 13 stolen weapons has been recovered. Police said they are concerned about the guns possibly ending up on the street and being used in other crimes.
According to investigators, more arrests are possible.
Anyone with information was asked to contact Investigator Daniel Soto or Lt. Chris Shockley at the Gallatin Police Department at 452-1313.
