NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Nineteen of the 21 inmates in the Davidson County jail who tested positive for COVID-19 have now recovered.
The sheriff's office said a total of 30 inmates, which includes the two inmates who tested positive and have not yet recovered, are under "COVID restriction."
Nine Davidson County Sheriff's Office employees tested positive so far, but six of them have since recovered and returned to work.
As of Tuesday, there were 953 inmates in the jail.
