Two suspects were apprehended and two others remain at large after a series of car burglaries that ultimately led to a crash in Brentwood.
The incident happened early Friday morning in the Stone Brook Drive area. Police were called to the scene after someone reported seeing a group of men driving around and peering into people’s cars.
Officers responded and found a car matching the vehicle's description.
A traffic stop was initiated, at which point two people got out of the car and ran. From there, the driver took off before eventually crashing through a wall, traveling down a hill and striking a tree.
Two people suffered minor injuries and were taken away from the scene by ambulance.
The search for the other two suspects remained ongoing. Police said several cars in the area had been burglarized.
