Late Wednesday night, the incident was called in to authorities from the 900 block of Lischey Avenue before midnight.

Officials were responding to the armed carjacking when they found the stolen vehicle crashed on East Trinity Lane.

The two suspects, identified as 19-year-old Tremarcus Martin and 16-year-old Amir Baylor, were discovered walking together between homes near Jones Avenue and Wesley Avenue. They were stopped by police and taken into custody.

According to the victim, he had been standing by his Mazda 6 sedan when the two suspects approached him and demanded his keys at gunpoint. They got into his vehicle and drove off, later crashing and leaving the vehicle.

Police recovered a .380 caliber handgun from the victim's car.
