Two suspects have been arrested in a large-scale narcotics investigation in Wilson County.

Officials said 32-year-old Giovani Lucio Delgadillo-Gutierrez and 31-year-old Brandon Yobani Eraristo Torres, both of Lebanon, were taken into custody on Wednesday.

Both had been the focus of a two-month long investigation between the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office and Lebanon Police Department into the sale of narcotics within the county and surrounding areas.

Police said 37 grams of black tar heroin were found during the takedown operation.

They said additional drugs and paraphernalia were found during a search of a residence on Red Bud Drive.

Metro Nashville Police officers also assisted in the investigation. The suspects allegedly were involved in illegal drug activity in Nashville.

After being processed at the Wilson County Jail, both suspects were transported to Davidson County for additional charges.
