2 Arrested In Robbery At Lascassas Market

Two people have been charged following an armed robbery at Lascassas Market.

A detective with the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office said 20-year-old Jahkeem Elias Wiley, of Memphis, and 20-year-old Deshun Vantez Stinson, of Murfreesboro, were taken into custody and charged with aggravated robbery.

According to reports, Wiley allegedly robbed the clerk at gunpoint Thursday morning at the market on Lascassas Highway.

Wiley was also charged by Murfreesboro Police Detective Jacob Fountain with two unrelated aggravated robberies.

Reports stated other charges have been expected by Murfreesboro Police detectives.

Authorities confirmed Stinson was released after posting a $12,000 bond.

Wiley was being held on a $30,000 bond. Officials said hearings were set for December 13 in General Sessions Court.
