NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Nashville firefighters were busy overnight as two blazes broke out amid extremely cold temperatures.
Crews were first called to a mobile home on Cheyenne Boulevard in East Nashville after a 911 call was made around 2:30 a.m.
Seven people, including four children, were inside the home when the fire started.
A firefighter said one person was still trapped when first responders arrived, but that person escaped.

Officials believe a heat lamp may have started the blaze. There was one underneath the front porch, possibly to keep a pet warm.
Firefighters also battled the elements overnight. Water from the hoses created sheets of black ice. One of their trucks was taken out of service because of brake issues.
Crews said an investigator will confirm the cause of the fire.
About two hours later, firefighters were called to Bethwood Drive when John Springs, his wife and six children awoke to the smell of smoke.

Springs said when he woke up, he saw flames shooting from his ceiling fan after they'd had electrical issues earlier in the night.
“I woke everybody up in the house, telling everybody to get out,” he said. “I woke up [and] smelled it. I wasn't even really thinking about it, grabbed what I could and got on out. It's crazy.”
The blaze originated in the attic area of the home. The fire chief on scene said it was likely electrical but investigators would have to make that call.
The home was destroyed. No one was hurt.
Springs said they do have some family in the area and they’re hoping they can help them. The American Red Cross was also called out to assist.
